The subject of peace in each country of the world is extremely important for humanity. All forms of preservation of peace which do not involve the use of violence or great material waste to dissuade war, should be supported by all.

Having myself experienced the effects of the practice of Transcendental Meditation and having observed some positive results in our country, which just came out of war, make me happy to verify that the interest in the search for an invincible defense for a world without enemies, is growing every day.

My country is creating the conditions to proceed in the realization of a Prevention Unit in the Armed Forces, on the premise that the best defense of a nation is to avoid the occurrence of enemies.

The best defense is to convert all armies of the world into armies of peace.
I wish that your reflections in this Third International Conference bring us practical conclusions which will allow us to see a fast and continuous decrease of the factors of enmity in the bosom of nations and amongst nations, of the conflict and wars until their elimination.

I wish you great success. Our desire is that the coherence that we are going to create in our countries through the practice of the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhis, contribute to eliminate the evils of enemies and war, by the eradication of poverty and solidarity amongst men.
