Dr. John Hagelin Inaugurates
US Peace Government on July 4

On July 4, Dr. John Hagelin inaugurated a new, knowl-edge-based US Peace Government designed to bring prevention-oriented, problem-free administration to America. This second, complementary government is composed of America’s foremost scientists, educators, health professionals, and other leading experts on the theory and application of total Natural Law. Dr. Hagelin has initially invited 400 Cabinet-level representatives of the new government from all 50 states to promote profound scientific principles of administration to the nation to create a new paradigm of governance through Natural Law.

Dr. Hagelin launched the US Peace Government at a special news conference in Washington, D.C., on July 2 at the historic Hay-Adams hotel, where founding members of the new government addressed the national press.

Following the news conference, Dr. Hagelin hosted the formal Fourth of July Inauguration of the US Peace Government in Fairfield, Iowa, as part of a three-day Inaugural Convention from July 3 to 6—a historic weekend of profound knowledge and practical training for all representatives of the new government.

“The new US Peace Government will not usurp the responsibilities of the current US government, which is largely concerned with crisis management,” Dr. Hagelin said. “Instead, it will promote deep scientific principles of prevention-oriented, problem-free administration through Natural Law—and the proven, practical programs scientifically shown to effectively prevent problems. These programs will develop total brain functioning, prevent disease and promote health, prevent crime, and create lasting world peace.

“The establishment of the US Peace Government is, in part, to replace our corrupt, money-driven system, where elected leaders’ primary expertise is raising special interest money from corporate sponsors, with the principle of a ‘meritocracy’—rule by the competent,” Dr. Hagelin said. “But its primary purpose is to bring support of Natural Law and raise man-made government to be on a par with Nature’s Government, which administers the ever-expanding universe with perfect order.”

The US Peace Government is seeking more top scientists and other professionals in each of the 50 states who have demonstrated a strong commitment to the public good, and who possess the deep knowledge and practical competence to lead society in a peaceful and evolutionary direction.
