U.S. Rep. Dennis Kucinich
Congressmen such as U.S. Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) have shown strong support for the Institute's Proposal to Prevent Terrorism and have been working closely with the Institute to obtain governmental and private-sector funding for the project. Rep. Kucinich, who has called Dr. Hagelin "one of the most important leaders for positive change in the world today," is the author of a historic Congressional bill that would establish a Cabinet-level U.S. Department of Peace.
