Three Upcoming Events
with Dr. John Hagelin

Institute director Dr. John Hagelin will be a featured speaker at three important national conferences in October (see details below). We hope that you and your colleagues, family, and friends will be able to attend these events and enjoy Dr. Hagelin’s inspiring presentations.

Dr. Hagelin is a world-renowned quantum physicist, life-long educator, author, public policy expert, and leading researcher on higher states of consciousness. He is international director of the Global Union of Scientists for Peace; chair of the Center for Leadership Performance; and president of the David Lynch Foundation for Consciousness-Based Education and World Peace.

This conference will explore the threads that weave together spiritual principles, technologies tracing human consciousness, and the establishment of an evolutionary culture today—one that stands up for a compassionate, sustainable, and just new society. On Friday, October 3, Dr. Hagelin will address the conference on “Science, Consciousness, and the Ultimate Reality: Transforming Society from the Inside Out.” His talk will explore the extraordinary relationship between the knowledge of ultimate reality as discovered by modern physics and as revealed by the ancient Vedic science of consciousness. He will also present findings on the scientifically confirmed power of group meditation to create measurable social change in the direction of peace.

This national conference will feature Dr. Hagelin, award-winning filmmaker David Lynch (Twin Peaks, Mulholland Drive, Inland Empire), and nationally known philanthropist Russell Simmons, founder of Def Jam Records and one of USA-Today’s “Top 25 Most Influential People of the Past 25 Years.” Also featured will be a panel of leading school principals and researchers who have implemented the Transcendental Meditation program in middle schools and high schools across the nation. This Summit will showcase 35 years of experience of Transcendental Meditation in the classroom, as well as the most recent, extraordinary results of schoolwide implementation of this program for the lives of students.
