On November 15, Institute director Dr. John Hagelin will be the keynote speaker at “Creating Permanent World Peace: A Proven New Approach,” an historic peace summit sponsored by Rotary in Arcadia, California.

Actor Stephen Collins, award-winning star of TV’s “7th Heaven,” will moderate the meeting, and Dr. Garbis DerYeghian, past Rotary district governor in district 5300, will host the event. The summit is free and open to the public.

Dr. Hagelin, a renowned quantum physicist and public policy expert, will speak about a proven new approach to reducing violent conflict and promoting permanent world peace. He has met with top-level government leaders at the White House, the Pentagon, the State Department, and the U.S. Congress to promote this approach.

Other featured panelists at the November 15 peace forum include:

  • Peter L. Salk, M.D., biomedical researcher and son of Jonas Salk, M.D.
  • Colonel Brian Rees, M.D., physician, author, and commander of the 349th General Hospital in Los Angeles
  • Robert G. Brown, former technology company CEO and business consultant
